A small Navajo ceramic seed pot, attributed to Irene White, with hand-incised and painted decoration throughout. The rounded clay form features repeated stylised Yei figures, feathers and geometric motifs in earthy green, burgundy, yellow and black tones.
The small opening at the top is characteristic of a seed-pot form, while the richly worked surface gives the piece a strong sculptural presence. Signed “IW” to the underside.
