About Us

Established in 2016, we are a small, family run independent business based in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire.

House of Found Things is where the colourful, curious and slightly unexpected end up. We collect vintage and retro pieces from the 1960s to the 1990s and beyond - from glassware, ceramics and books to vinyl, toys, fashion, cameras and small electronics. Some are design classics, some are nostalgic favourites, and some are simply too interesting to leave behind.

We have a soft spot for objects with personality: bold colours, clever shapes, unusual details and the occasional wonderfully odd find. Everything is chosen with care, photographed properly and described honestly, including the marks, quirks and signs of age that make vintage worth buying in the first place.

HoFT is not a museum, and it is definitely not about keeping the past behind glass. These are things to use, wear, play, display, collect and enjoy all over again. The collection is always changing, so have a look around - you might find something you remember, something you never knew existed, or something you suddenly cannot imagine leaving without.
